How you can help our Young Carers
Drive for the young carers
Could you volunteer as a driver for our Young Carers?
Some of our young carers struggle to get to our activities and events for various reasons, including for example that their parent/guardian who they care for cannot physically get them to a location due to their own care.
We often require volunteers in Hyndburn and Ribble Valley who may be able to pick up and drop off our young carers. In this volunteer role, you would be fully DBS checked and appropriate training provided.
You might even be a previous bus driver for schools or local groups that can drive our minibus! If you have D1 on your license, contact us!
Fundraise for the young carers
Could you fundraise specifically for our Young Carers?
Fundraising for our Young Carers helps pay for them to attend our activities and age specific sessions such as residentials, craft sessions, days out, visits to local activity centres such as JumpWorks Accrington where they can really let go and be young!
