Welfare and Benefits Officer
Carers Link Lancashire is looking to appoint a committed and dynamic Welfare and Benefits Officer to
lead on welfare and benefits advice for the charity and its beneficiaries.
The role will involve providing carers with information, guidance and support on their benefit rights and
entitlements, alongside providing 1-2-1 support in assisting with completion of claim forms and any welfare
related issues. This role also may include reviewing Carers Assessments and Peace of Mind Plans in
accordance with statutory guidelines.
The successful candidate will be from a benefits background, with extensive knowledge in this field.
They will also be empathetic with a passion and enthusiasm for improving the lives of unpaid carers.
28 hours per week (flexible on days)
