Communications Officer

Carers Link Lancashire is looking to appoint a committed and dynamic Communications Officer with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage all communications across the organisation.

Communications Officer

Initially funded until 31st June 2022– subject to further funding post 2022

37 hours per week

Various areas in East Lancashire– Head office: Accrington

 

The role involves raising awareness of the charity, its services & support by successfully implementing, development and managing all outgoing / incoming media and communications.

The successful candidate will take the lead on developing, improving and maintaining all communication platforms across the charity such as  managing digital and social media, publicity and marketing and implementing campaigns.

The successful candidate will be pro-active with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well on own and as part of a larger team.

 

The ideal candidate will be dynamic, energetic, innovative, friendly with the ability to  engage with a wide range of people.

Community Cafe and Facility Manager

Carers Link Lancashire is looking to appoint a driven enthusiastic and dynamic Community Café & Facility Manager with the skills and knowledge to manage and lead our charity's community facility & catering  services.

COMMUNITY CAFÉ & FACILITY MANAGER £19,939.42 per annum

37 Hours per week—subject to 3 month probationary period

Flexible working to allow some evening /weekend work  

Accrington Town Centre– 54/56 Blackburn Road

 

The role involves overall responsibility for the effective planning, implementation and delivery of high quality and profitable café services through a community café alongside managing the small on site charity shop. The successful candidate will be driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop successful relationships with staff, carers, and members of the public to create a thriving environment.

The role will involve leading and being supported by a team of volunteers who will support in the day to day operations of the facility and its services.
