Rethink Carers East Lancashire
Part of Rethink Carers Lancashire
Rethink Mental Illness is a charity that believes a better life is possible for millions of people affected by severe mental illness. For over 40 years they have brought people together to support each other. They run services and support groups across England that change people's lives and they challenge attitudes about mental illness.
Working in partnership with Carers Link Lancashire, Blackburn with Darwen Carers Service and Rethink Mental Illness, a new group was established in February 2017 to support those who care for someone with mental ill health.
The group is run by and for carers affected by severe mental illness and backed up by the national charity. Each quarter a representative from the Carers Services will attend, but its primary focus is the carer.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 6.00pm to 8.00pm at Elmfield Hall, Gatty Park, Hyndburn Road, Accrington, BB5 4AA.
